Iloilo City: Mooon Cafe

Ola, mi amigo! 🙂 Yes, I can hear you say the Mooon out loud. ;p

Erica, my good friend who lives in Negros, told us that she’ll be going to Iloilo for her thesis and so she asked if we could have lunch together. We decided to eat at Mooon Cafe at SM City Southpoint.

I like those zesty and vibrant colors! Makes me imagine the Mexican restaurant where Anne Hathaway‘s character worked in the movie One Day. Mooon Cafe focuses on Mexican cuisine but they also serve other international dishes. They serve nachos, quesadillas, and other popular Mexican dishes.

Sorry, against the light! ;p

I didn’t know the candles would look pretty in the picture.

Sun Cooler is a mix of citrus fruit juices with chunks of watermelon and orange. Say Hi to Tesha on the background.
The not-so-garlic garlic rice.
Elvi’s pumpkin soup.
Pork Belly
Pork Steak?

We didn’t know that the dishes were good for two or three people so each of us ordered one dish. We should have asked about it. Oh well, there’s always a next time. We didn’t even finish everything we ordered.

Against the light! -_-

Now, there’s a decent picture with my girls – Erica, Tesha, and Elvi. We miss the others too! We spent around three hours catching up with each other. Time flies, we used to live with each other.

Nothing can go wrong when you’re in good company. 🙂

Te quiero, amigos!
