Remnants of a Supertyphoon

I know the Internet is being flooded with pictures of Supertyphoon Yolanda’s aftermath these past few weeks. This post will also contain our own shots. Some pictures I took, some were taken by my friends. I forgot to take note but credits to Emmalene Diana, Lara Elvas, and Junjun Panes. Take a long sigh before you scroll down.

20131118_124407The pictures break my heart every time. The local news had me crying each time for two weeks. But I know, the pit is not bottomless and there’s always a way out. Visayas will rise again. The trees and mountains regain their green and the people will have bigger smiles.

We still need help but just to let the world know, we never stopped helping ourselves. πŸ™‚ Just wait and see, the internet will again be flooded by Before and After pictures. Of Visayas. Of what Yolanda left it with and what its people did to regain its beauty.
