Summer at Sheridan

I’ve walked on the pavements of Sheridan countless times. It may just be a boutique resort, but it truly illustrates the line “small but terrible”. Needless to say, it’s just like me. Lol. Kidding aside, Sheridan Boutique Resort in Oton is now added to the many reasons why I’m proud to be a “tumandok” or a local of Oton.

Summer just got interesting with Sheridan’s specials. During the media launch my blogger friends and I attended, the management and staff shared with us the hottest deals that they have for everyone’s summer to be more enjoyable. Here are three reasons why you should set off to Sheridan in Oton this summer:

1. New Local Resident’s Rate

With the new local resident’s rate, you don’t need to put off your mini vacays. Book the Casitas or Deluxe Room for only P2000 for two persons. Present a valid ID and you get to avail the promo inclusive of the 20% discount at Ayanna’s Restaurant and the unlimited use of kayak facilities. With Oton only being a 15-minute drive from the city, you don’t need to go that far to take a break to a mini paradise, away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

2. New Menu

Don’t hesitate to treat your palate. Sheridan’s Ayanna’s Restaurant launched its new menu to cater to a wider audience. By recreating its dishes, they are proving to the Ilonggos that sophisticated dishes can also be budget-friendly. The new menu still includes all-time favorite and bestsellers such as the Ayanna Chicken Cocido, Ayanna Back Ribs, Honey Pork Belly, Tablea Chocolate Truffle Cake, and Ube Haleya Cake. Here are the dishes to look forward to:

3. Summer Onsite Attractions

Complete your summer getaway with fun-filled activities that Sheridan has to offer. Get your hooks and baits ready and go fishing at the resort’s lagoon. For only P350/kilo for Tilapia, and P250/kilo for Bangus, you can enjoy your freshwater catch for lunch or dinner.

While your catch is being cleaned and cooked, you can cool off in the pool. Refresh yourself at the Azure Infinity Pool. Choose from three packages: P250/pax for adults and P200/pax for kids, pool use with meals for P500/pax, or pool use with day use of a room at P1500/person.

Sheridan Boutique Resort now also accepts enrollees for its annual summer swim class. Treat your kids to some summer splashing for only P3000 for 12 sessions. The lessons are open for kids from 3 years old and above. The first batch starts on April 11-15, 18-22, and May 25-26, 2016.

I’d have to add two more reasons why you should head to Sheridan this summer. One, the place is so romantic. And two, there’s a lot of pretty corners where you can take Instagram-worthy photos. Yup, this is me promoting Sheridan and my beloved hometown, Oton… like a true Ogtonganon.
