One simply can’t have enough of Boracay. No matter how many times you’ve visited the breathtaking island, you’ll still have new things to try and new sights to see. That’s why I fought my way out of my hectic work schedule just so I can join my blogger friends for a weekend staycation at the Ferra Hotel. I simply couldn’t say no to a summer in September!
Ferra Hotel has a total of 37 bedrooms all equipped with free Wi-Fi Internet access, Cable TV, DVD player, Individually controlled air-conditioning unit, Hot and cold shower, mini refrigerator, coffee and tea maker, and in-room safe. We occupied the Superior Room while the guys had the one bedroom loft.
Our rooms were perfect for staycations. They were spacious and furnished with everything that an exhausted millenial needs for a break including fast WiFi and a microwave oven for heating midnight snacks. Lol. I’d love to stay in the loft next time. It looks so cozy especially with the bed upstairs. One thing worth noting is that it was clean everywhere. Seems like all the corners were dusted well and cleaned to perfection.
Although not in the beach front, I would highly recommend staying at Ferra especially for those who have already visited Boracay before. After all, it’s only a 6-minute walk to D’Mall and Bulabog Beach and 10-minute walk to the White Beach – just enough to lose some calories for more instagrammable bikini poses at the White Beach.
For me, a pool is merely a bonus when staying in a hotel in Boracay. After all, the island is surrounded with flawless white sand beaches. This is why I appreciate the size of Ferra Hotel’s pool. It’s the perfect size for short dips and laps and to take a break from beach water.
Ugh. Failed blogger poses. Perhaps I will never master its art along with the hulog-piso pose. Haha!
Before heading out to Caticlan, I was telling my boyfriend that one of the things I looked forward to was the breakfast buffet at the hotel. I don’t always eat breakfast, but when checked in, I load myself up. Not only because I’m getting ready for the long day out but also because I just simply love breakfast buffets! Ferra’s didn’t disappoint.
Ferra Hotel also has a roof deck bar and restaurant which we also loved.
I had a wonderful time at Ferra. It was a great summer in September and also a much-needed one. You see, a break is a necessity for me every other month. Lol. I loved the hotel interiors. Its minimalist design allows one to focus on the intricate details like the paintings and the furniture. One very important feature to note is that the colors they used are very easy on the eyes. It adds a lot to the relaxing vibe of the hotel.
Above all, however, Ferra Hotel’s best asset is their staff, from the managers to the servers, guards, driver, housekeeping and kitchen staff. Everyone you bump into greets you with a genuine smile. They approach their guests respectfully and were very accommodating to everyone. This is not just to us, bloggers, as I saw them treat the other guests the same way. Perhaps this is what makes this modern hotel feel like a home away from home.
Thank you, Ferra Hotel. Until next time!
